Website Terms of Use
Last updated: 27 October 2026 · Effective from: 27 October 2026
1.Who we are and what these terms cover
The website at safe.inc (www.safe.inc) is operated by SAFE Consortium Pty Ltd (ABN 16 697 284 790), located at 13/477 Pitt Street, Haymarket, NSW, Australia. In these terms, "SAFE", "we", "us" and "our" refer to SAFE Consortium Pty Ltd.
These Website Terms of Use govern your access to and use of our public website at safe.inc. Access to and use of the authenticated SAFE application by customer organisations and their authorised staff is governed by our separate Application Terms of Use and the relevant customer agreement. In alignment with the Online Safety Act 2021 (Cth) and eSafety Commissioner standards, the SAFE application is an enterprise decision-support tool restricted strictly to authorised adult professionals aged 18 years or older; minors are not permitted to register for or hold a SAFE account. Our Privacy Policy (/legal/privacy) explains how we handle personal information across both our website and application.
2.Permitted use of this website
You may browse and use our website to learn about SAFE, read our public resources and contact our team. You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not disrupt, damage or impair the website, our infrastructure or other users.
You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or connected systems, introduce malicious code, scrape or harvest restricted content, or impersonate another person or organisation.
3.General information and safeguarding responsibilities
Content published on safe.inc is provided for general informational purposes regarding SAFE and child-safeguarding governance. Website content does not constitute legal advice, clinical diagnosis or an emergency reporting channel.
In an emergency or where a child is in immediate danger, always call 000. SAFE provides upstream early identification, structured risk assessment and safeguarding governance aligned with the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations and the Education and Care Services National Law and National Regulations, but it never replaces an educator's, service's or approved provider's mandatory reporting or regulatory notification duties, nor does it replace statutory government case management under state, territory or Commonwealth law.
Please do not submit child names, live case disclosures or sensitive safeguarding records through public website contact forms. Public forms are intended for general, commercial and media enquiries only.
4.Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, user-interface designs, logos, icons and downloadable materials, is owned by SAFE Consortium Pty Ltd or licensed to us, and is protected by Australian and international copyright, trade mark and intellectual property laws.
You may view, download and print publicly available pages for your own internal professional or informational use, provided you keep all copyright and attribution notices intact. You must not copy, republish, modify, distribute or commercially exploit our website content or branding without our prior written permission.
5.Website enquiries and feedback
When you submit an enquiry through our website, please provide accurate contact details and only include information that you are authorised to share. We will handle your enquiry in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
If you choose to send us general feedback or suggestions regarding our website or public materials, you agree that we may use that feedback to improve our materials and services without restriction or compensation. Providing feedback does not grant us any ownership over your organisation's confidential information.
6.Third-party links and external resources
Our website may contain links to government agencies, regulatory guidance, academic research, service-status monitors and other third-party websites. These links are provided for convenience and reference only.
We do not control third-party websites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. When relying on regulatory or statutory reporting guidance, please verify the current requirements directly with the relevant state, territory or Commonwealth authority.
7.Website availability and accuracy
We take reasonable care to keep the information on safe.inc accurate and current, and we may update, change or remove website content at any time without notice. Temporary interruptions to the public website may occur during maintenance, updates or events beyond our reasonable control.
If you spot an error or broken link on our website, please let us know at hello@safe.inc.
8.Consumer guarantees and liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy conferred on you by the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to those non-excludable rights, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the public website, or from your reliance on general informational content published on the website, except to the extent directly caused by our negligence, breach of law or wilful misconduct.
9.Changes to these terms
We may update these Website Terms of Use from time to time by publishing the revised terms on safe.inc with an updated effective date. Continued use of the public website after updated terms are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10.Contact and governing law
For general website enquiries, contact hello@safe.inc. For privacy, data-access or security enquiries, contact privacy@safe.inc.
These Website Terms of Use are governed by the laws of New South Wales and the Commonwealth of Australia, and the courts of New South Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
